Hi, I'm Teddy Kingsford Miller, and welcome to Kingsford Outdoors.

This site is the convergence of my two lifelong passions: the wild places of the North and the art of nature photography. With a degree in Fish and Wildlife Management and over 45 years of experience in the field, the outdoors is not a hobby for me—it is a way of life. My camera is always close at hand to capture the rugged beauty of the terrain and the wildlife that inhabits it.

My roots run deep in the Nordic wilderness. Growing up in Karasjok, Norway, my childhood was defined by the seasons: summers fishing the legendary Tana River, autumns crossing the high country, and winters exploring on skis and snowmobiles from my family cabin. These formative years instilled in me a profound respect for the wild that guides every journey I take.

Currently based in Rjukan, with frequent visits to Oslo, I spend my days exploring the backcountry and documenting the journey. Whether through a viewfinder or on the trail, my goal is to share the authentic story of the outdoors.
